Hi my mother is 93 and not taking any Rx drugs for her dementia. We are currently only giving her a protocol of Ivermectin, which she tolerates well. Dear Dr. Sharma, my husband suffers from Parkinson’s but long before he had symptoms of PD he had anxiety that he went to counseling for. He remembers things from the past that I don’t remember, but can’t remember what he just said a minute ago. He also suffers from indifference. When asked a question he usually responds with, “I guess” or “probably” or “I don’t think so.” Very seldom yes or no. But even worse, he doesn’t seem to care about much of anything being “okay, I guess” with everything. He is getting weaker mentally as well as physically. I have given him supplements to keep him off the carbadopa/levadopa (he takes only 1/2 pill AM and 1/2 pill PM) by giving him Vit B-1, B-6, Taurine, Tyrosine, Vit C, D, B12, Ginko, Coq-10, zinc, potassium and magnesium. I was giving him Mucuna, but it didn’t seem to help and made him feel sick. He has all the symptoms listed above EXCEPT irritability.

My wife Susham Gupta aged 69 years has been parkinson patient for quite some time and has been taking medicines for the same for last about 7 years now. Greetings, Dr. Sharma. My mother is 90 years old and began with signs of dementia after a GI bleed when she was very anemic and had decreased blood flow. She is considered to have moderate cognitive impairment. She lives in assisted living and is mobile, does a great deal of words puzzles, plays dominoes and socializes. She is less aware of her surroundings than she used to be and has trouble with the tv and telephone, as well as short term memory. Hello, my mother is 81 and in very good physical condition. She has been having difficulty finding her words for things and has been not going to church because she doesn’t want people to realize what is going on with her. She is not disoriented in any way and functions otherwise fully, is not getting lost or forgetting how to do things, etc. She has no memory problems. My father venkatesham age is around 74 years , is facing dementia like symptoms from past 9 months and I had been to neurophysician for consultation and he suggested to take syndoplus and Teboken forte along with high bp tablet as usual to continue like previously. My mother is about 80 plus years of age. She does every daily activity perfectly. Like getting up early morning, brushing teeths, going to washrooms, bathing on time.
