Attention Deficit Hyperactive disorder ADHD
It is estimated that about 3-5 percent of all kids, have this disorder. Also the most unfortunate thing is that in many cases this disorder goes totally undiagnosed .The child is often mistaken as hyper-energetic kid or as just being more playful, but the reality is that many such kids suffer from a medical disorder known as Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder or ADHD.
It is a common belief that only kids showing signs of physical hyperactivity have some problem related to this disorder. Well, this actually it is not the complete truth. Symptoms of consistent inattentiveness are also associated with this disorder. It is characterized by hyperactivity (physical), inattentiveness, and impulsivity

Kids having ADHD usually depict either of three patterns of behavior. Either they are more of the hyperactive type, which means that they are more physically hyperactive (constantly moving jumping running fidgeting squirming, having difficulty sitting in one place etc) or the ‘inattentive type’ (having difficulty in concentrating, easily distracted) or the ‘combined type’ (having symptoms of hyperactivity and inattention both).
Not all children who run and jump too much suffer from ADHD. It is very important to realize that for a child to be diagnosed with ADHD, certain criterion has to be met with also called as the DSM criteria, before a child can be said to be suffering from it.
Nobody exactly knows what causes ADHD. Recent researches point out the causes could be either neurobiological or genetical. Certain chemical levels in the brain have been found low (dopamine -a chemical that sends messages to the part of the brain involved in attention, movement and motivation). Increased levels of heavy metals (lead) in the body is also seen in some kids .The kind of parenting given to the child has no role in the causation of this disorder, although bad parenting can influence the severity of this disorder.
Implication of ADHD can have far reaching effects, with the schooling of the child taking the biggest hit. Poor performance in school due to ADHD can lead to a hampered self esteem in the child .ADHD can also lead to learning disabilities, defiant behavior ,conduct disorder(anti-social behaviour,stealing ,fighting), anxiety disorders and depression .
Severe forms of ADHD are difficult to differentiate from milder forms of autism, a careful approach is necessary in diagnosing and treating such forms. Such severe forms affect the child?s normal mental development .for example speech and cognitive skills can be markedly affected in such cases.
Homoeopathy for ADHD

my son is five years old he is not willing to eat him self.always mother is feeding
him.not biting anything onlly soweling.and he is not siting in one place.if we go out he run.now he is studing in UKG in class he is doing well. writing doing home work in class its self. but still he dint talk proberly.we did not take him to any hospital. please advice

My son has been diagnosed with ADHD and Dyslexia with frequent seizure. I have been treating him in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital for past 4 years. However, there is no improvement and his condition is worsening. Today i have been asked to do the Valproate blood level test. My nephew (12 yrs)has been diagnosed with ADHD, the medicine with which we strted resulted in loss of his appetite, the Dr later suggested INSPIRAL (10mg) to him, just after first dose of Inspiral he showed an unusual behaviour. I strtd getting scared and repeatedly said that everbody is going to beat him. We took doctors consent n gave him another medicine which passified him immediately n Inspiral was stopped for him. He was fine for a day but again he showed d same activity, which was though mellowed down by d medicine. The doctor is saying that he will b fine in 2-3 days but my prime concern is dat is the side effect of medicine so strong that he is facing such problems. What should we do kindly tell we are quiet tensed can Homeopaty be of any help? Do reply,

Hi, my daughter is 14 year old and she is our adopted daughter. For last 1 years she is mentally disturbed as she is search of her biloogical parents.
She ran away from home twice . She is under medication from psychiatrist for last couple of months. Today he said she is the patient of ADHD and prescribed Inspiral 5 mg.. She was hyperactive in her childhood. Now she started stealing money and again wants to run away. Please advice
My daughter had problematice EEG from age 2.5. EEG was requried as she had seizures. Seizure were mild used to last for only 20 seconds each).
After strating antiepilyptic medicines ( Sodium Valproate, Lamitor) her seizures reduced about 12 seizures in 18 months. And seizure have stopped completely – none in last 8 months.
She also had ADHD and there were complaints from school.
She is now on combination Sodium Valproate, Lamitor, Axepta, Lonazep and there is improvement in school and also in her attention span.
It seems she may have to take these medicine for 1 more year.
I was wondering if there are any equivalent medicine in homeopathy.

my son is 7yr and 6 month old. he is having a behviour that dr. diagnose as ADHD. but their is no complain from his school, his reasult of the last year is 96%. but he need my constant attention while studying. if i gave him any work he do some efforts , if it done its o.k. other leave that work and gave excusis. he can not wait for his turn , he move too much at home, he can not sit quit for more than five min. he has no friends in school also. he is ready to take part in any school compitition. he is very aggrasiv at home and with his cousins. he fight with any one at home and argue too much, so dr. also said he is having a problem of ODD. dr. Rx Axepta 10mg. dose it necessary to put my son on medicine? is their any other way?

My son is 11 year old studying in Vii class. He is aggressive adamant and lacks concentration. He was quite good in his studies till iv class but afterwards got deterioated and now quite violent never listen properly. Watches too much TV and video games. We find it very difficult to handles being working couple and his strong physique. He appears to be suffereing from ADHD. Iam also mentioning that if he pay little attention he is very sharp. Doctor have prescribed him Inspiral sr 10 mg. I dont have any idea about it . Kindly let me know it side effects. My son is now 5 and half years old,and has been diagnosed ADHD.I noticed all the above mentioned symptoms in him from his first year.initially i took it as energetic and active baby but later i came to know about the real reason.He was started giving inspiral 20 ,continuing from past 2 months and prescribed to continue for 6 more months atleast.Now iam afraid to use it for long.I want to know whether its safe if i continue it longer and if yes how long?

Sir, My daughter aged 6yrs and 9 moths is diagonesed as ADHD. She is studing in Class I and has problem with studies. Does Maths but is not writing her notes in the Class. Though at home she do write in our presence but at school she writes only sometimes. She does not have any other behaviorial issues. She is very caring and lovable child. We gave her Accepta 10mg on advise of a doctor for around 3 months but she used to feel sleepy inthe class than we have stopped the medicine. Now from last 5 months we haven’t given her any medicines. Do advise us for improvement in this case.
