Attention Deficit Hyperactive disorder ADHD
It is estimated that about 3-5 percent of all kids, have this disorder. Also the most unfortunate thing is that in many cases this disorder goes totally undiagnosed .The child is often mistaken as hyper-energetic kid or as just being more playful, but the reality is that many such kids suffer from a medical disorder known as Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder or ADHD.
It is a common belief that only kids showing signs of physical hyperactivity have some problem related to this disorder. Well, this actually it is not the complete truth. Symptoms of consistent inattentiveness are also associated with this disorder. It is characterized by hyperactivity (physical), inattentiveness, and impulsivity

Kids having ADHD usually depict either of three patterns of behavior. Either they are more of the hyperactive type, which means that they are more physically hyperactive (constantly moving jumping running fidgeting squirming, having difficulty sitting in one place etc) or the ‘inattentive type’ (having difficulty in concentrating, easily distracted) or the ‘combined type’ (having symptoms of hyperactivity and inattention both).
Not all children who run and jump too much suffer from ADHD. It is very important to realize that for a child to be diagnosed with ADHD, certain criterion has to be met with also called as the DSM criteria, before a child can be said to be suffering from it.
Nobody exactly knows what causes ADHD. Recent researches point out the causes could be either neurobiological or genetical. Certain chemical levels in the brain have been found low (dopamine -a chemical that sends messages to the part of the brain involved in attention, movement and motivation). Increased levels of heavy metals (lead) in the body is also seen in some kids .The kind of parenting given to the child has no role in the causation of this disorder, although bad parenting can influence the severity of this disorder.
Implication of ADHD can have far reaching effects, with the schooling of the child taking the biggest hit. Poor performance in school due to ADHD can lead to a hampered self esteem in the child .ADHD can also lead to learning disabilities, defiant behavior ,conduct disorder(anti-social behaviour,stealing ,fighting), anxiety disorders and depression .
Severe forms of ADHD are difficult to differentiate from milder forms of autism, a careful approach is necessary in diagnosing and treating such forms. Such severe forms affect the child?s normal mental development .for example speech and cognitive skills can be markedly affected in such cases.
Homoeopathy for ADHD

My child 4.5 years facing ADHD problem. At the time of 1.5 Years, he got Myclonic Epilepsy, now the epilepsy was come down, but Speech and Attention Deficit problem is there. i am residing in hyd, please advice me how to give good normal life to my child as a normal child. Hello dr. My son is 3and1/2 yrs old he is too active, doesn’t sit at one place for a long time, always jumping running playing with toys, since few months he started using bad words also doesn’t listen to me at all specially when we go for an outing or relatives house . Sometime he acts very well and behaves like a good boy at home and suddenly his mind changes for the bad things in few mins. Specially I can’t take him out and if someone comes to our house he misbehaves with them by using bad words and hit them. Iam much worried of his behavior so pls help me .
My son is 5 yrs old and was detected with autism mild to moderated when he was 3.yrs of age. His occupation therepy was started. and speech was started when he was 3.5 yrs. since then we have changed the OT therapist but the progess was very slow and then his behaviour was also changing and lot of hyperactivity and eye contact was also very less. we started with homeopathy medicine a year back but his hyper activity was a little less.but when we stopped the medicine just 15 days back his hyperactivity and irritatedness and biting and hitting others has been too much. He just goes to KG class in school but does not sit in one place for long time and there is no concentration and does not want to study. He does not talk or converse only repeats certain letters or words.

I want to ask you about a special case of my aunt’s daughter.
She is about 9 years old but still she cannot speak or understand what we tell.Symtomps observed in her are mentioned below, I request you to go through it.
1.She cannot inform nature calls.
2.She will not speak,if we try hard and teachs a word she will forgot with in 15-20 days.
3.She always want bike or car rides.
4.she was very much attached to her father.Every morning when she wake’s up she want to go a ride with her father else she will cry non-stop.
5.If she goes for one ride she will forget about her father and she will keep quite.
6.We consulted many doctors but there was no use.

our child is 2yrs and 6mth of age..he is very hyperactive…he doesn’t sit at one place for than 5min.he is very impulsive and cannot concentrate at any particular thing for more than 5min…thus his speaking skill is not developed.at night he sleeps for some 4hrs only…even 2hrs sleep makes him fresh..what should we do to make him concentrate and start learning?

My child is in class vii. He is suffering from ADHD. very hiperactive, inattentive ,lack concentration, very talkative and becomes voilent when provoaked. he is getting regular complaints from school. Though the school understands the problem but unable to control it. At home we are trying our best but unable to control him. My son has a very mild case of ADHD and Learning Difficulty. He is taking Inspiral 20 mg per day. Want to know if there are any side effects of it. Also want to know if there is any homeopathy medicine for his problem?
my son 17 yrs old has been advised Acepta 10 mg. he took these for 3 days. then stopped because of getting head aches, weakness etc. another doctor prescribed Meth OD 10 mg. He took these for 4-5 days. ZBut now he is complaining of not being able to concentrate on studies, when he attends college he feels that he cant understnd anything, seems to be feeling that he cant cope up with studies.
