Attention Deficit Hyperactive disorder ADHD
It is estimated that about 3-5 percent of all kids, have this disorder. Also the most unfortunate thing is that in many cases this disorder goes totally undiagnosed .The child is often mistaken as hyper-energetic kid or as just being more playful, but the reality is that many such kids suffer from a medical disorder known as Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder or ADHD.
It is a common belief that only kids showing signs of physical hyperactivity have some problem related to this disorder. Well, this actually it is not the complete truth. Symptoms of consistent inattentiveness are also associated with this disorder. It is characterized by hyperactivity (physical), inattentiveness, and impulsivity

Kids having ADHD usually depict either of three patterns of behavior. Either they are more of the hyperactive type, which means that they are more physically hyperactive (constantly moving jumping running fidgeting squirming, having difficulty sitting in one place etc) or the ‘inattentive type’ (having difficulty in concentrating, easily distracted) or the ‘combined type’ (having symptoms of hyperactivity and inattention both).
Not all children who run and jump too much suffer from ADHD. It is very important to realize that for a child to be diagnosed with ADHD, certain criterion has to be met with also called as the DSM criteria, before a child can be said to be suffering from it.
Nobody exactly knows what causes ADHD. Recent researches point out the causes could be either neurobiological or genetical. Certain chemical levels in the brain have been found low (dopamine -a chemical that sends messages to the part of the brain involved in attention, movement and motivation). Increased levels of heavy metals (lead) in the body is also seen in some kids .The kind of parenting given to the child has no role in the causation of this disorder, although bad parenting can influence the severity of this disorder.
Implication of ADHD can have far reaching effects, with the schooling of the child taking the biggest hit. Poor performance in school due to ADHD can lead to a hampered self esteem in the child .ADHD can also lead to learning disabilities, defiant behavior ,conduct disorder(anti-social behaviour,stealing ,fighting), anxiety disorders and depression .
Severe forms of ADHD are difficult to differentiate from milder forms of autism, a careful approach is necessary in diagnosing and treating such forms. Such severe forms affect the child?s normal mental development .for example speech and cognitive skills can be markedly affected in such cases.
Homoeopathy for ADHD

My son is 12 yrs 2 months. he completed his 6th class. he is having poor concentration in studies specially in math’s. Learning problem of long Q&Ans. he is not having ability of analysis, forgetful, he is skipping from one task to another task easily . if we advice and screwed him , he will listen for one or two days after that same story repeat. He will talk unrelated to topic. He sleeps very deep. Appetite is normal. Activity of playing good , but if he loose in the game he cannot accept. He is still childish mentality. He still very much interest in lower class studies like lkg, ukg and so on. He is not having own thinking capacity. After psychometric test done by renewed Dr.Bhaskar Naidu in hyderabad. we came to know that my son is suffering with mild ADHD. he is having learning disability, and specific arithmetic and little bit over confident. More over my son IQ IS 90 that shows normal level.
I had taken advice from professor in psychology and consultant doctor he had given prescription to my son was DIVALPRID (divalproex sodium consist of a compound of sodium valproate) OD 250MG for one month on 30.10.12. my son used it. But there is no significant changes in his behavior . We met the doctor again on 25.03.23013. doctor was prescribed DIPRO OD 500MG(DIVALPROEX SODIUM) and CITA-S OD 5 MG ( which contains ESCITALOPRAM anti depressant which had lot of side effects) we are not used this medicine to my son because of side effects.
Doctor I came to know that there is a best remedy in homeopathy. Please suggest us how to over come from this problem.

sir my daughter ashritha aged 4 years 7 months suffering from mild autistic features, and regularly attending speech theraphy, behaviour modification and toilet training at NIMH hospital, Manovikas nagar, secundrabad. and also taking treatment in rainbow hospital, banjarahills, Dr. Kalyan chakravarthi.

My daughter is 4 years old. My daughter seems to have symptoms of ADHD. SHe has the following symptoms.
1. Sight delay in rolling over. starting walking in 13th month.
2. Has all the gross motor skills.
3. There is speech delay. talks 2-3words . vacoubalory is good. does not talk in big sentences. if she likes anything or wants anything , speaks in sentences of 4 to 6 words
4. does not sit in one place for long. when she sits on a chair, she keeps on rocking her legs
5. She has excellent grasping power and memory power. Her teacher told taht she tells names of all her classmates, 20-25 in number
6. Not able to understand if she has normal reasoning and logical power.
7. she does not respond in speech when we call her by name. Only when we call her 4-6 times she comes to us.
8.. Her hearing is normal in fact very sharp. learns a lot by hearing.
9. Eye contact is there for most of the time.

Her DQ done2 years back was given as 81 and SQ as 87 and after one year her DQ was given as 71 and SQ as 89. As per speech therapist report her RLA is normal and her ELA is is around 1 year behind.

Sir, my son is 12 years old studying in 7 th std. As you mention he may be suffering with ADHD. His symptums are:-
1. He never sits in class. Atleast every week I have been called for his behaviour.
2. Even at home he does not want to study. If we sits beside him then only he study with so many excuses.
3. He never listen at scool and at home also.
4. He do very silly mistakes, careless behaviour. If we councel him he will be alright for some tome but he revert back.

My son is 2.5 years old, he is hyper active and unattentive. he says amma, pappa, anna but he dont call us with those names he himself says like that. we heard about Autism through friends and diagnosed through assessments at one of the Autism center in hyderbad, thay have confirmed that my son has ADHD. Sysmptoms are hyperactiveness, restlessness, Self injury(biting his finger when he is happy/crying),poor eye contact,sleepless ness.
After diagnosing doctor has prescribed mdecines and after using the medicine for a week doctor advised us to join my son in Autism school, know he is going to school. since we started using medicines there is a little improve ment w.r.t sleeplessness,hyperactiveness and eye contact have improved. Can we use homeopathy medicines also along with concventional medicines? improvement through conventional medicines which we are observing is it a permanent improvement or temporary please clrify. will there be any side effects if we use both. what kind of side effects will be ther on child with conventional medicines? one of our friend told us that through ABA (Alternative behavioural approcah) there will be fast and effective recovery to the child, where can we find those schools which offer ABA in hyderbad,india.
