Attention Deficit Hyperactive disorder ADHD
It is estimated that about 3-5 percent of all kids, have this disorder. Also the most unfortunate thing is that in many cases this disorder goes totally undiagnosed .The child is often mistaken as hyper-energetic kid or as just being more playful, but the reality is that many such kids suffer from a medical disorder known as Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder or ADHD.
It is a common belief that only kids showing signs of physical hyperactivity have some problem related to this disorder. Well, this actually it is not the complete truth. Symptoms of consistent inattentiveness are also associated with this disorder. It is characterized by hyperactivity (physical), inattentiveness, and impulsivity

Kids having ADHD usually depict either of three patterns of behavior. Either they are more of the hyperactive type, which means that they are more physically hyperactive (constantly moving jumping running fidgeting squirming, having difficulty sitting in one place etc) or the ‘inattentive type’ (having difficulty in concentrating, easily distracted) or the ‘combined type’ (having symptoms of hyperactivity and inattention both).
Not all children who run and jump too much suffer from ADHD. It is very important to realize that for a child to be diagnosed with ADHD, certain criterion has to be met with also called as the DSM criteria, before a child can be said to be suffering from it.
Nobody exactly knows what causes ADHD. Recent researches point out the causes could be either neurobiological or genetical. Certain chemical levels in the brain have been found low (dopamine -a chemical that sends messages to the part of the brain involved in attention, movement and motivation). Increased levels of heavy metals (lead) in the body is also seen in some kids .The kind of parenting given to the child has no role in the causation of this disorder, although bad parenting can influence the severity of this disorder.
Implication of ADHD can have far reaching effects, with the schooling of the child taking the biggest hit. Poor performance in school due to ADHD can lead to a hampered self esteem in the child .ADHD can also lead to learning disabilities, defiant behavior ,conduct disorder(anti-social behaviour,stealing ,fighting), anxiety disorders and depression .
Severe forms of ADHD are difficult to differentiate from milder forms of autism, a careful approach is necessary in diagnosing and treating such forms. Such severe forms affect the child?s normal mental development .for example speech and cognitive skills can be markedly affected in such cases.

My son age above 5yrs is suffering from hyperactivity and speech delay but he can write alphabets, numbers, words, sentences, he can do addition, subtraction, can write his name, fathers name, mothers name can write names of animals plants fruits etc. he can say 1-100 and A-Z.
But can not speak or talk with us and others. He is very hyperactive but he is studying for 2 hrs daily with his Mom only at home.

I am a single working mother. My son is 12 years old studing in class VII. He is very intelligent and his academic performance was excillent till class V.But since last 2-3 years I am observing some gradual changes in his behavior and attitude.
He has became aggresive, adament and violent.
He is always engaged in watching TV and playing games in laptop and mobile.
He get angry easily, always shouts and never listen anyone.

Iam Ibrahim from hyderabad & My wife’s name is Kiranmai.We belongs to inter-religion.We have one & only son named as Akhil Hassan 7 yrs old.He has been hyper active by birth .slowly we recognized,but Pediatrician suggested that treatment should be start after 6th year only.my Son can talk 2 languages i.e; HINDI & TELUGU when he was from 2yrs old.I can not say that he is Inattentive but he get angry within seconds.I will give the details about his nature below .Kindly suggest me what kind of treatment should need my son.

My son is 2 year old. still not understanding the language.He understands by facial expersions and activity done by others. He can say ‘mama’ to me only. And can speak baba,dada,didi just like babbling.
He looks like hyperactive. And that increases when he has more than enough sleep and not physically enough tired.
He has just started non verbal communication and little bit improvement in eye contact also.

my son Nityansh 3.6 yrs old is very hyperactive. He does not sit still/on seat at school as well at home.he started his school at 2.4 yrs old and till today all teacher complaints the same.He is very impulsive, doesn’t pay any attention/follow instruction what is being said.He also hits the children in school and doesn’t play in with his peers.
