COME winter and it is time for all the cold-related illnesses. Sinusitis happens to be one of them. Although its occurrence is not always related to cold and can happen any time of the year, for those who are sensitive to the least chill in the air, sinusitis may be just round the corner. Homeopathic treatment can be of great help to those who suffer from sinusitis often during winter.
Sinusitis is the inflammation of the sinuses (hollow spaces) in our skull. These hollow spaces are linked to the nose from inside. The anatomical presence of these cavities makes our skull light for our neck to bear it. Sinuses also provide the resonance to our tone when we speak. So, the presence of the sinuses is not a problem but it is their inflammation (sinusitis) that causes distress. Inflammation can be acute, recurrent or of chronic nature.
Sinuses are four sets of hollow spaces in our skull. They are situated in cheek bones, forehead, behind the bridge of the nose and between the eyes and yet another set is situated in the upper region of the nose and behind the eyes. All of these sinuses have the same lining that is present in our nose. This lining produces mucus which is drained out of these sinuses through an opening in the nose. During an attack of cold or allergies (mucous membranes start producing more mucus during cold, etc.) swelling in the nose and sinuses can cause the drainage from the sinuses to get blocked. This blockage leads to the trapping of mucus in the sinuses resulting in the growth of bacteria and viruses.
The symptoms
The symptoms of sinusitis depend upon the sinus that gets affected. The morning headache when one wakes up is typical of sinusitis: blocked sensation: in the nose, heaviness and pain in the facial bones and head may occur due to the underlying inflamed sinus. Inflammation in the sinuses that are present behind the bridge of the nose and in-between the eyes can lead to swelling in the eyelids and the tissues around the eyes. Inflammation in the maxillary sinuses can cause pain in the upper jaw and teeth.
Sinusitis may be accompanied by other symptoms of nasal congestion, runny nose, fever, tiredness and cough that may aggravate at night. Post-nasal dripping of mucus can cause problems in the throat too.
A correctly prescribed homeopathic medicine can be a great boon to those who suffer from sinusitis. Homeopathic treatment aims at rebuilding one’s immunity towards such attack. Salty thin water comes from nostrils without any cough I am diabetic on insuline 70/30and also getting medicine for to control hbp also involved in ed and age 70 years . Medicines are written in net but potency is not shown so please sujest medicine for to cure all symthems

I am suffering a lot with frontal sinus headaches, which would get better with antibiotics, but now nothing can help. It is worse when I have dairy products or citrus., so avoid that.

having chronic pain in head ,forehead and eyes specially right eye I am suffering from chronic headache and nasal congestion problems though I had naucea during repetitive headaches frequency of one months now I don’t have vomittings during headaches I think it is sinusitis, moreover I feel weakness and tiredness and exposed to dusty and smokey environment and already allergic to dust . Somedays I am feel salty taste cold in my nose with a bad smell during breath. I have consult ENT specialist and take tablets somedays. The Doctor says this is not a problem and it will cure some days due take tablets only. But now I am feel bad smell during bad breath. Kindly advise please.

this is shaily..and i wanna know about the seriousness of sinus…actually my elder sister is having sinus problem from more then 20 yrs. and we got to know this few days back..she is 37 and her wait is just 30 kg…after all tests done the reports came negative in all sense..the doctor told her that the sinus is on last stage..and if she want herself to be ok she have to take the treatment for 5 years regularly..and if she forget to take medicine for even a single day she has to start the whole treatment again from starting is it true…she is very weak..n now after knowing all this she is leaving her hope to live…can u please help me to understand this problem and cure…or there is any other way to treat her problem like operation so that she will become well soon…please help me i will wait for your reply…thx.

My left side nosetril is totally blocked due to extended bone inside nose. I am unable to sleep well at night. I am having very dark circles too around my eyes. An ENT Specialist has advised me to go for operation soon. Is there any treatment in homeopathy to avoid the operation. Can an extended bone be shrinked now?
