Its spring time and the weather is great outside, but for many it is not a very pleasant time of the year. It’s time for their allergies to come up. Nasal and respiratory allergies are very intense in this weather (from March to early May). Sneezing, runny nose, watery and itchy eyes and even breathing problems can be a part of this allergic reaction.
Wheat harvesting in April becomes a major source for triggering this kind of allergy. Wheat harvest allergy not only affects those who stay in villages and near farms but also those who stay in cities, as wheat thrashing dust is carried by wind to nearby cities and towns too. Homeopathy has a wonderful treatment for spring allergy. Not only does it treat the current symptoms but also gradually eradicates the tendency to have such recurrent attacks every year.
Hay fever or seasonal allergic rhinitis, as it is called, is most commonly caused by tree and grass pollens and also wheat thrashing dust. It is characterised by symptoms of sneezing, itchy and watery eyes, runny nose and a burning or itchy sensation in the throat or palate. Coughing and sore throat may also be present in some individuals. Some patients develop asthmatic symptoms like breathing difficulties along with other symptoms of allergic rhinitis.
Homeopathy aims at treating the patient by optimising the overactive immune system. It works by giving a similar stimulus to the body like that of the allergen (pollen dust, etc) in very minute but activated form. This process gradually desensitises the overactive immune system against the allergens.
Quite a few of the homeopathic medicines used in treating allergies are made from plants whose pollens are known to cause symptoms of allergy. The most common example is the ragweed, which is also used as an important homeopathic medicine in treating allergy.
The most common homeopathic medicines used in treating hay fever are Sabadilla, Allium Cepa, Natrum Mur, Ambrosia and Arsenic Album. Allium Cepa requires a special mention in treating spring allergic rhinitis. Histaminum, Luffa Operculata and Galphimia Glauca are a few of the medicines that have been lately introduced in homeopathy and have shown very promising results in treating allergy.
I have allergy on exposure suddenly to sunlight on a hot day. Or coming in a chilly ac room. I sneeze hv runny nose and itchy eyes. Which medicines and how should i use them.

My daughter is9 yrs and is sneezing every 3mins like ten sneezes in one go but does not have runny nose in fact her nasal passage is blocked due to which she is mouth breathing.she complaints of pain in her ear while sneezing and also throat pain..I have been giving her Allegra syrup,augmenting and xyzal m kid for a month to no good,also I have been treating her with homeopathic medicines,I have used nasal sprays like duonase,nasonex and wino lip.it has happened for the 1st time..what could it be and how long do such allergys last?
Sir,Iam suffering from Nasal allergies since 10 to 12 years.I am 50 and have diabetse but well controlled.during February to April,I have continuous nose running,sneezing,eye itching and water running from eyes.I have till now used only Homeopathic Medicines or Ayurvedic or Unani Medicines and have well health.

i have sneezing problems due to allergy, but, till date i haven’t been able to pin point what i’m allergic to. once my sneezing starts no allopathic anti – histamine works NO MATTER WHAT. i keep sneezing from morning till late evening resulting in a runny nose. always and always my left nostril goes totally blocked, sneezing followed by nasal discharge like an egg white (in thickness and in color) accompanied with constant dripping of both nostrils as if a tap is leaking (watery discharge) …….. can u plz suggest me a homeopathic medicine.

My names are David Mwakidimi. I am in Kenya and have been experiencing the allergic reactions of sneezing which starts after a tingling sensation up one of my nostrils. These is then followed by a runny nose with clear mucus and itchy watery eyes. This I experience usually early in the morning and in the evening when it starts to get chilly and I get the cold air up my nose during normal breathing. I have tried medications like simple piritons, celestamine and I am currently on montana 10mg for 5 days having already done 1 day. I have yet to see a change in my condition. I have been suffering from running nose and sneezing forth last 6yrs. It gets better if i use flixonaise along with anti histamine tablets. I use nasal drops before sleeping at night which dries the nose for the night. In the morning as soon as i get up , the dryness gets dislodged causing irritation and bout of sneezing. If i come from outside into a A.C. room, or drink iced drink, bout of sneezing starts again.
I work on ship and the problem persists outside at sea as well,where there is no pollution.
