Weather is known to have an effect on rheumatoid arthritis. It is quite known that arthritis patients show an increase in their symptoms during cold weather. Winters can be very bad for some of them. The time for its treatment is dependent on various factors-The chronicity of the disease (the duration since the disease has been in the body), genetic propensity and the extent of damage.

I am alopathy medicine and that to just pain killer and a antibiotic my condition is so worse that i cant even stand properly.After diagnose doctors advised me to replace hip bone by surgery, but i didn’t instead i have been taking ayurvedic medicines since 2yrs but having not much improvement.Recently I consulted a homeopathy doctor he suggested me that homeopathy has cure for it but you will see the result only after 6 months and the duration of the course will be 2 yrs. they are giving 99.9% assurance.Please advice me whether i should go for homeopathy or not

My wife aged 39 yrs. is suffering from multiple joint pain & swelling for past one year. It started with pain, stiffness & swelling in the fingers of hands and legs. We started the treatment from Rheumatologist. She gave her Tab. Foltrax-10mg @ Tab. Fol-5mg once a week ( in march 2010). Her RA factor tested on May 2010 is 13.2 IU/ml & her anticcp comes positive at 5.0U/ml. No relief felt during the treatment & the pain and swelling increase. We change the doctor and he gave Takfa 0.5, once a weak, lefco 10mg twice daily and a injection? every weak. some relief felt during the weak but after some time pain, stiffness & swelling comes in both the knees one by one. Now she could not walk properly as pain felt in knees and foot joints.
We have started homeopathic treatment from Dr. Kushal Banerjee of chitranjan park new delhi from May2011.
Now she get some relief in swelling but the pain exists as soon as she walks few steps. She was a teacher & very active before this problem. Pl. suggest if we carry on with the treatment & haw long will it take my wife to live a normal life.

I am from bangladesh. My mother is now 65 years old. But she has been suffering by multiple joint pain with fever since 1998. RA NEGATIVE, HB NEGATIVE, ESR POSITIVE,BLOOD GROUP “O” POSITIVE. She was taken ranitidine,indomethasin,methotraxate,leflunomide,calcium tab,clofenec suppository,omiprazol,prednisolone,intra articular injection,inj vitamine d3 bon etc. But no improvement. In this situation she is very week,not walking. Allways feel pain in all joint.

iam a 30 years old femal. iam suffering from rheumatoid arthritis. my rheumatoid factor was last year 249. since last summer i did not feel severe pain as i was having before, but, i realized recently that my middle finger starts deforming. it is inclining to the right with forming swelling cartillage on the left upper side of my middle finger. is it usual to start deforming joint at age of 30?
i feel very depressed when i see my joints. please i need help if any one have any idea. by the way i went to many doctors and none of them cares about my condition. it is like there is no hope.

My mother is a RA patient. She is 59 years old & suffering from RA for the last 5-6 years. She is totally dependent on allopathy but still not able walk & move properly. Please guide us,can we use homoeopathy at the same time with allopathy.
My mother(54yrs) is suffering from rheumatoid arthritis for last 18 yrs, she is on same allopathic madicine(methotrexate + calcium) for last 8 yrs which is more or less stable.
