Weather is known to have an effect on rheumatoid arthritis. It is quite known that arthritis patients show an increase in their symptoms during cold weather. Winters can be very bad for some of them. Even wet weather aggravates the condition for many patients. Some RA (rheumatoid arthritis) patient seems to be too sensitive about weather changes. The Scope of homoeopathic treatment in rheumatoid arthritis is very favorable. But the patient needs to understand that the homeopathic system is aiming to clear out the disease from the body and not trying merely to suppress or give temporary relief .Thus it could take a while before one experiences relief. The time for its treatment is dependent on various factors-The chronicity of the disease (the duration since the disease has been in the body), genetic propensity and the extent of damage.
Although it is not very clear as how homeopathy works in rheumatoid arthritis, it is hypothesized that homoeopathic medicines regulate the immune system and deactivates the misdirected immune cells. I am suffering from RA for the past 4 yrs. Initially the Allopathy doctor put me on steriod Defcort 30 mg and other pain killers. By taking Defcort 30 mg i have become a diabetic patient. Then i went to another doctor i had some relief. Meanwhile i also started to takeAyurvedic medicines with Allopathy medicines. Now i am visiting another Doctor in allopathy, now my situation has improved a bit, but still there is a lot of pain in some affected areas. Right now i am taking Saaz, Naprosyn. My wife is suffering from rheumatoid arthritis for last 8 yrs. SAAZ DZ ,HCQS and Powergesic MR are the medicines that she takes regularly . After taking so many treatments the disease has not cured yet.Its very much difficult for her now to tackle herself ,home and children. Dr I am enquiring for my mother in law. She has been diagnosed with RA last year when she had a severe attack on her knee joints both swelled up and she was in severe pain. We have tried painkillers etc but due to the side effects etc she does not like taking them ! She suffers from high blood pressure has had acupuncture for 8 months which did give her pain relief. She is now in Pakistan since Jan and there has been a relief in the warm weather. Her swelling has all gone but the pain in her knees is still there . She has good days and bad days. There is pain in other joints such as her shoulders and wrists and thumb. She is 52 tears old and had a similar attack about 6 years ago from which she made a complete recovery however she is still suffering at moment. What do you recommend ? My wife is suffering from R A for the last ten years. We got all type of treatment except homeo. But of no use. The condition is going worsen and worson.. There are sudden attaks of joint pain and inflamation. The severity is unbearable. There is no relation of weather condition, it is now equal even in summer. Howere,it is much in winter. hi, i am suffering from lot of pain on my joint and swelling on my body, so in my home town i went to nadi vaid he tol me that i have vata dosh and pittah dosh . so, i am also having hypothyroid, in which later he gave me mediciene for aamvatah (Rehutoid Artherites)I took this mediciene for 3 month later he said not to take said i am cured.but after 2 months my both hands fingers and thumbs get numbs and had lot of pain , i can not bend any fingers and if bend forcefully , there is lot of pain and have problem making them straight, i dont understand what to.
