Chronic sinusitis is a condition in which the sinuses inside our skull become inflamed for months and years together. This condition can considerably reduce ones quality of life. Patients suffering from chronic Sinusitis complain of difficulty in breathing from nose, headaches, pain and tenderness in the face.
Yellow greenish discharges may also be present from the nose and also from the back of the throat. In most cases, this kind of chronic inflammation in the sinuses is caused by underlying allergic reactions to pollen, pet dander, and dust mites, smoke etc. Homeopathic treatment of chronic sinusitis is very effective and has a strong edge over the conventional treatments. Symptoms of Chronic sinusitis resemble those of acute sinusitis, but usually last much longer and cause more fatigue. The main symptoms of chronic sinusitis are pain in the face and pressure in the areas of forehead, temples, cheeks, and nose and behind the eyes, discharge of a thick yellow or greenish discharge from the nose or down the back of the throat, obstructed and difficult breathing through the nose, diminished sense of smell or taste, frequent Headache (especially in morning), Teeth pain, Fatigue, Cough, and Sore throat.
As homeopathy is a symptom based system of medicine, the prescription is based upon the symptoms presented by the patient. Many symptomatic factors determine the choice of remedy .i.e. the type of discharges from the nose and throat, the sinus that is involved and other factors like the time of the year when this problem increases also its relation to weather. The main homeopathic medicines used for treating chronic sinusitis are Hydrastis, kali bichrome, Silicea and Merc Sol. Luffa Opercula requires a special mention for treating allergies and sinusitis both. Lemna Minor works well in cases where the sinusitis is complicated by nasal polyps.
At times the treatment of underlying allergy may also require a totally different set of medicines. Prescription based on the detailed study of the patient’s physical and mental makeup (which is also called as constitutional prescribing) is at times required to cure the allergy from the base.

I am suffering from ear trouble. Surgery was made in right ear..It was tympano mastoidectomy.
Doctor said that infection is removed.At present no discharge is there but hearing loss persist.
Now I am worried abt my left year..hearing of which is almost normal, no discharge at present but during last 5-6 years it gave me trouble frequently in 1.5 yr interval..Problem is suddenly an infection is developed which causes irritation ,discharge of water,hearing trouble.After consulting doctor and having antibiotics and hear drop it gets normal stage.This phenomena has been happening since last few years . Doctors are saying that there is small perforation in left ear drum also that’s what the reason infection happening frequently and same trouble coming back again and again.
Now in this circumstances as I have moderate to severe hearing loss in right ear alrady so I am quite afraid to undergo another surgery in my left.Because if anything negative happen I would have total hearing loss..Doctor advised me not to enter water in my ear and to keep ear dry..But I hv tendency of cold and cough.
Is there any way in homeopathy which can help me to get rid of this problem without doing surgery?? And make my ear infection resistible forever .

Am suffering chronic sinusitis from past 3 months. Visted doctors and gave antibiotics and steroid sparys. Taken antibiotics for two weeks and later did CT scans an said the there is a inflammation due chronic sinusitis and gave three of antibiotic with steriod spary. It becomes better little bit during this course of medicine. Later comes normal. I have no fever only is nose is blocked and cannot breath. No proper sleep in night because of block nose and need to breath with mouth which is getting dried frequently in nights and wakes every half n hour and drink water. It is totally distributed sleep in nights. I lost my smell and taste of food. I would like to know is there any medicine to cure this kind of chronic sinusitis. It almost 4 months I didn’t breath properly for even few hours

I am a 25 years old women and I am suffering from chronic sinusitis since past several years. My nose passage is blocked during every season of the year. The whole 12 months I experience dry nasal congestion. Every moment I feel like blowing my nose by nothing comes out. When it comes out, it is in the form of a very thick mucus. I stay in AC for the whole day…first in the office and them After going home n the PG where I stay. The whole night I sleep in AC. Every day when I wake up in the morning, I find my nose fully blocked with congestion. It is very painful and very irritating. I never get to breathe like a normal person. Alopathy doctors have said that there snt any permanent cure for chronic sinusitis in allopathy. Please help me through this and suggest me what to do..

my symptom is-
1, i got headache early morning when i get up from the bed
2,when i go out in the sun, in humid weather, in crowd from noise, bright light,strong smell lack of sleep.(specially in humid weather)
3, its frontal headache,specially in the eyebrows,root of the nose and in the temple,and it changes side. right to left and so on. mostly right side is painful.
4, during attack my eyebrows swells up,nose,mouth and throat becomes dry ,feel like vomiting when pain is unbearable i vomit.

I have been having troubles with sinus condition for about five or six years now. It is now everyday thick mucus in my throat and I have to “suck down” to pull the mucus into my throat to expel. Nothing runs out of my nose. The inside of my nose is dry. It feels full in my nose and I want to flare my nostrils to pull air through. I have taken many homeopathic medicines for this. Some may have helped a bit, but nothing has cured this. I have wondered if it would be my teeth as I have had root canals. The x rays show that everything is quite perfect with all of my upper teeth. My roots do go into my sinus passage.
Do you have any ideas or suggestions about remedies that may help?
I am becoming very tired and very frustrated with this condition that has lasted so long!
