Chronic sinusitis is a condition in which the sinuses inside our skull become inflamed for months and years together. This condition can considerably reduce ones quality of life. Patients suffering from chronic Sinusitis complain of difficulty in breathing from nose, headaches, pain and tenderness in the face.
Yellow greenish discharges may also be present from the nose and also from the back of the throat. In most cases, this kind of chronic inflammation in the sinuses is caused by underlying allergic reactions to pollen, pet dander, and dust mites, smoke etc. Homeopathic treatment of chronic sinusitis is very effective and has a strong edge over the conventional treatments. The main symptoms of chronic sinusitis are pain in the face and pressure in the areas of forehead, temples, cheeks, and nose and behind the eyes, discharge of a thick yellow or greenish discharge from the nose or down the back of the throat, obstructed and difficult breathing through the nose, diminished sense of smell or taste, frequent Headache (especially in morning), Teeth pain, Fatigue, Cough, and Sore throat.
As homeopathy is a symptom based system of medicine, the prescription is based upon the symptoms presented by the patient. Many symptomatic factors determine the choice of remedy .i.e. the type of discharges from the nose and throat, the sinus that is involved and other factors like the time of the year when this problem increases also its relation to weather. The main homeopathic medicines used for treating chronic sinusitis are Hydrastis, kali bichrome, Silicea and Merc Sol. Luffa Opercula requires a special mention for treating allergies and sinusitis both. Lemna Minor works well in cases where the sinusitis is complicated by nasal polyps.

hello huys..i also have sinus havent done a chk up….i took ayurvedic medicine as per baba ramdev,its effective but u have to maintain certain things,no cold water less in A.C. less oily things, and u need to do jalneeti,and kapaal bharti ,it realy helps ,once i waake up in morning i feel blocked nose with cough but after jalneti and pranayam with homeopathic madicine i feel gud and open nose through the day infact untill next morning

I am 64 years old.I am suffering from chronic sinusitis since last 20 years.Till this year I suffered most in winter,eating curd,by drinking fruit juices,even eating fruits.but that happened only in cold season.i get stuffed every sneezing specially in the morning,runny nose.it has even affected my ear.I got severe pain in my forehead this year when the plane in which I was travelling was landing.This year I am getting all those symptoms in summer too.kindly help me with my problem.

I am also having the same problem at age of 58 years. Left side of nose gets blocked in the morning when I get up from sleep. Also feel head ache, forehead pain. some times pain like spark behind the eyes inside, when I lift the head some liquid waste gets down the throat, mouth always gives bad smell, what could be the medicine good for sinusitis. Presently I am using, R-9, 15 drops in 10Ml water for Morning and Evening, 6 pills of Merc Dis Iod in the after noon, 6 pills of Belladona in the Night.
What should I do now when only small relief after use of above medicine. Please advise I am getting these symptoms frequently for every 4 months. Advise me for complete relief lasting for longer periods.
my wife about 56 years is suffering from excessive sneezing nose flows too much the fluents drop inside throat also it is more in the morning when she gets up for the prayers and in kitchen working also. I am suffering fungal sinusitis in the nasal maxillary and had an operation that removed the fungal (ash and black discharge) but it recurred again. The operation was performed by doctors at Apollo Hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Doctor advised me to do another operation and gave me some antibiotic for short period. last 4 months I did not meet with doctors.

I am a 55 yr old Asian female. I have chronic sinusitis past 2 years with 24./7 high pitch tinnitus since I’ve developed TMJ from clenching dealing with high stress prior years. Two months ago started having constant dizziness/vertigo with balance issue.
