Chronic sinusitis is a condition in which the sinuses inside our skull become inflamed for months and years together. This condition can considerably reduce ones quality of life. Patients suffering from chronic Sinusitis complain of difficulty in breathing from nose, headaches, pain and tenderness in the face.
Yellow greenish discharges may also be present from the nose and also from the back of the throat. In most cases, this kind of chronic inflammation in the sinuses is caused by underlying allergic reactions to pollen, pet dander, and dust mites, smoke etc. Homeopathic treatment of chronic sinusitis is very effective and has a strong edge over the conventional treatments. The main symptoms of chronic sinusitis are pain in the face and pressure in the areas of forehead, temples, cheeks, and nose and behind the eyes, discharge of a thick yellow or greenish discharge from the nose or down the back of the throat, obstructed and difficult breathing through the nose, diminished sense of smell or taste, frequent Headache (especially in morning), Teeth pain, Fatigue, Cough, and Sore throat.
As homeopathy is a symptom based system of medicine, the prescription is based upon the symptoms presented by the patient. Many symptomatic factors determine the choice of remedy .i.e. the type of discharges from the nose and throat, the sinus that is involved and other factors like the time of the year when this problem increases also its relation to weather. The main homeopathic medicines used for treating chronic sinusitis are Hydrastis, kali bichrome, Silicea and Merc Sol. Luffa Opercula requires a special mention for treating allergies and sinusitis both. Lemna Minor works well in cases where the sinusitis is complicated by nasal polyps.
At times the treatment of underlying allergy may also require a totally different set of medicines. Prescription based on the detailed study of the patient’s physical and mental makeup (which is also called as constitutional prescribing) is at times required to cure the allergy from the base.
Dear sir, I am suffering from nose block,diminished sense of smell and taste, some times white discharge down the back off the throat. Early in the morning the problem is high ofter break fast the problem is veary less in the night my right nose is blocking since last 5years i didnt use alopethic medecines but used some nose spreys but my problem is not at cured.Last one year i am using Dr Reckweg Homepathi medicine R1 AND R49 my problem is cured 75%but in this season my problem is intensified and my smelling sence and taste is not at cured so please advise me for further diagnose if required,or medecine is required to eraise this problem completly from the root.

i am 25 and from last 5-6 years i have been facing below mentioned symptoms.
facial pressure on leaning forward,
frontal headache behind eyebrows
little heavyness in the upper jaw,
green-coloured mucus from the nose
nasal bloackage or sometime runny nose
mucus drain down into the back of throat and causing a sore throat and cough
Apart of these symptoms , now i have notices that now i am more prone to cold and cough , i think these symptoms has also reduced my immunity towards them, now i easily catch cold and cough whenever there is some change in weather conditions, which further results in the above mentioned problems.

I am chronic patient of sinus. Get often cold, nose running especially in the morning. Repeated sneezing, nose blockage. It is also confirmed from X-ray report that I have chronic Sinus. Heaviness in left side face and left head. sneeze occurs in morning after doing paste daily and in the evening also . water discharges from mouth in the morning after tooth brush. I am suffering from sinus and have this problem quite often. I have just finsihed a course of antibiotics. Is it possibly gut related. As i also have a problem with all diary & some wheat. I also cannot consume many carbs as my system does not break it down. Like simple potatoes are bloating and even most breads so i avoid a lot of foods. Please advise what i can do. I think allergy starts the sinus problem. I hve these trees at work as soon as i pass themmy eyes water and my sinuses start up.
