Chronic sinusitis is a condition in which the sinuses inside our skull become inflamed for months and years together. This condition can considerably reduce ones quality of life. Patients suffering from chronic Sinusitis complain of difficulty in breathing from nose, headaches, pain and tenderness in the face.
Yellow greenish discharges may also be present from the nose and also from the back of the throat. In most cases, this kind of chronic inflammation in the sinuses is caused by underlying allergic reactions to pollen, pet dander, and dust mites, smoke etc. Homeopathic treatment of chronic sinusitis is very effective and has a strong edge over the conventional treatments. The main symptoms of chronic sinusitis are pain in the face and pressure in the areas of forehead, temples, cheeks, and nose and behind the eyes, discharge of a thick yellow or greenish discharge from the nose or down the back of the throat, obstructed and difficult breathing through the nose, diminished sense of smell or taste, frequent Headache (especially in morning), Teeth pain, Fatigue, Cough, and Sore throat.
As homeopathy is a symptom based system of medicine, the prescription is based upon the symptoms presented by the patient. Many symptomatic factors determine the choice of remedy .i.e. the type of discharges from the nose and throat, the sinus that is involved and other factors like the time of the year when this problem increases also its relation to weather. The main homeopathic medicines used for treating chronic sinusitis are Hydrastis, kali bichrome, Silicea and Merc Sol. Luffa Opercula requires a special mention for treating allergies and sinusitis both. Lemna Minor works well in cases where the sinusitis is complicated by nasal polyps.
At times the treatment of underlying allergy may also require a totally different set of medicines. Prescription based on the detailed study of the patient’s physical and mental makeup (which is also called as constitutional prescribing) is at times required to cure the allergy from the base.

i have been suffering from cronic sinositis since last 7/8 months my one side nose is usally blocked and stuffy and always feel like blowing my nose, i have taken different alopathic treatment and i have been told that fungal infection is increasing and you have to get it operated, but i heard there is a permanent cure in homeopathy, i dont want to get it operated, iam a non drinker and non smoker with good healthy eating habits, . kindly suggest me the treatment. thanks and regards . surender pal

My name is Muhammad Zahid i ‘m 25 years old i have a sinisus problem since 5 to 6 years i have treatment several of Doctor’s but not any positive response last doctor Alopathic he told me that my nose meet has been increase that why admit for operation. My problem is that i have pain in my head for moving. cold is continuously dropping my throat
I have been to my doctor several times and he gives me antibiotics that do nothing – I’m told I have sinusitis . When he checks my ears he tells me he can see build up of fluid in my ears causing pressure. My pain is in my neck and at base of skull giving me terrible headaches but usually when I wake up after laying down at night , I do have nasal draining in my throat always, but not having to blow my nose at all. Where I live (high desert) , it is very low humidity 5% and the ragweed , allergy here is terrible , I have never had this problem till I came here. Help

I used to get frequent headache. Pain in the forehead, Back of the head, temples, cheeks, eye brows and nose, behind the eyes. Early morning headache and vomiting. Now for the past three I had cough and took treatment for the cough. Suddenly I vomited blood while coughing and After all tests doctor told that I have chronic sinustis problem. I have had recurrent sinus infections. Upon getting a CT scan, we discovered that I have a fracture in my nose which has caused a shift towards the right maxillary sinus thus blocking it chronically. As a result the left side has developed an extra air pocket but also mildly infected. Now the sinus behind the eyes are getting infected, and the last sinus infection I had was accompanied by an eye infection too. The surgeon states that if the fracture is fixed the sinuses will automatically be ok. Is there a homeopathic med that can reverse the fracture in my nose?
