6 Best Natural Homeopathic Remedies for Cellulitis treatment

Homeopathic medicines for Celulitis

Cellulitis is a very common bacterial skin infection in which there is inflammation of skin and connective tissue. Cellulitis can occur on any part of the body but face and lower legs are the most common site for cellulitis. Homeopathic medicines for cellulitis treatment  are very effective in fighting out the bacterias without the using antibiotics .

Cause of Cellulitis

The main causative agents for causing cellulitis are Streptococcus pyogenes and Staphyloccus aureus bacterias. In healthy condition the skin act as a protective barrier against infectious agents, preventing their entry into the body. When the integrity of skin is broken due to various factors like insect bite, cuts, scratch marks, injuries, surgical incision etc, the bacteria gain entry into the body through this broken skin and leads to inflammation of skin and connective tissue. People with diabetes mellitus, suppressed immune system and venous stasis are more prone to cellulitis.

Symptoms of Cellulitis

The main symptoms of cellulitis include redness, swelling, heat and pain in the affected area. As the disease advances blebs and bullae appear on the skin. Blebs and bullae are fluid containing eruptions on skin. At this stage fever occurs. If the condition is not properly treated at this stage then it goes further deep into connective tissue and gains access to the lymph nodes. Then the infection spreads to blood leading to septicemia or blood poisoning which is a very critical condition.

My legs began with being reddish, hot, painful, now it has darkened, hot and that area sweats, itches me at times and when scratched is white and scally. Please help me.

  2. Victor Carl says:

Dr Sharma. I’m a patient of Dr David Lilley FRHS. Myeloma. Post stem cell replacement 2018 . He is unavailable. GP wants me this morning .
to go on heavy doses of antibiotics after left toe and foot significantly swelling, tissue rupture, staph or strep infection dressed auth iodine and legs up resting all day. Huge foot swelling. Complicating is an iliac vein stent inserted in July 2023 that relieved symptoms. I see the vascular specialist Tuesday. Question is do I continue to treat with Sulphur 10M, Silicea 200, Calendula mother tincture and Calendula200. Left foot is hot and red. What are risks of persisting with homeopathy and delaying or avoiding antibiotics (9 courses in last two years) – age 70. I have done much to boost immunity but it’s not sufficient. I don’t have fever.

  3. Dear Dr. Sharma,

I normally keep Silicea and Apis Mellifica, but am also interested in Belladonna and Pyrogeneum. Do you have pricing for several together?

Also, I am healing (yes) my venous stasis dermatitis on left lower leg, but had an allergic reaction to Triamcinolone Acetonide. I also probably have some cellulitis, particularly in the higher part of the lower leg and around the knee. What is the best natural med for this? (Fungal cream was of minimal value – Chlortrimazole.)

  4. Hi, I’m glad to have found you. I practise herbalism, using 100% natural ingredients in my well being products, using plants I’ve grown from seed. I’m trying to help a relative who is suffering with lymphoedema with cellulitis. I’ve researched and am looking at supporting his lymphatic system as well as using products such as an herbal detox foot soak, an herbal body massage oil as well as an oil to use with dry skin brushing. I’m thinking also to soothe the heat, reduce swelling promote skin healing new cell growth as well as help prevent secondary infection to advise him to apply gauze soaked in aloe vera. I’m very confident of my own formulation of calendula salve, which I find fantastic for aiding skin repair/healing. I’d like to use calendula in the massage oil too with some essential oils formulated to meet with his needs. The problem here is that he is on blood thinners which restricts a lot of the oils that would benefit him. I’d like to add to his foot soak and body massage oil essential oils such as peppermint, chamomile, lemongrass and others that promote lymph drainage supporting the lymphatic system. I make my own infused herbal oils to then use in my products. The medical suppliers just don’t seem to help or advise him. I’m surprised that he hasn’t even been advised on nutrition, and what he should be avoiding whilst taking the medication Apixaban. If you could offer any advise here I’d really appreciate your input so that I can get started on helping ease his discomfort. Oh, I forgot to say that he has scars on both legs from being club foot at birth, and of course the swollen skin stretching is causing weeping. Kindest regards, Chrissie

  5. Hi Dr. Shares,
I went through two rounds of sclerotherapy for spider and varicose veins. After the second treatment I noticed an are of redness on the inside of my lower, left leg close to the ankle. It is not swollen or hot to the touch and it does not itch. It’s just red. My pedal pulses are good. Do you have any suggestions on what this might be and what I can do to get rid of the redness?
I thank you for your time,
    Lynn
