Hi Dr. Sharma your analysis is so encouraging. I started experiencing urinary stricture about 10 years ago. As at then I could not explain what the problem was. I went for urinalysis, semen culture and so on and all that could be seen was coliform. Resultantly I took drugs which integrated antibiotics like ciproflocasin. Series of such treatments had no effect on the difficulty of passing out urine which I experience. In my local government area where I stay, one rarely sees a urologist. I was lucky to met one through referal but after detailed explanation to him on the difficulty in kickstarting urination and my inability to fully emty my bladder, even the issues of frequent urination, he told me I was having urinary stricture. I had mesh removal seven weeks and I have been the catheter for about three months. after surgery, the Dr. wanted me pull the catheter one week after I arrived home, I did that and and only small amount did I void. then a 2nd week about 100cc came and I stopped and the third week the same as before.
