This is to ask for your advice about what I should do and what medicine should I to apply to my mother, 80 years old with no such serious age related disease but only joint rheumatic arthritis, who defecated twice today with fresh blood accompanying her semi-solid stool. She has no other physical complaints as such. She has a record of suffering from blood dysentery during her childhood. I am a male aged about 77. One year back I had treatment for IBS due to frequent urge for stooling. Endoscopy and colonoscopy were taken but all were negative. Now the treatment is stopped as find no much problem. But still the stools are not normal. Some time loose. Some time I find mucus (not yellow but stool colour only). Offen I face diarrhea also, which used to stop by a doss od Ridol tab. Of late, say two weeks or so, I find my stool is black in colour. Of course not very dark. That too not always.
