Anal fissure is a cut or tear in lining of anal canal. Anal fissure mainly results from straining while passing hard or large stool. Chronic diarrhea may also lead to anal fissures. Anal fissure may arise in women from trauma caused to anal canal during childbirth. Anal fissures are very common in infants (child between ages of 1 month to 12 months). I am 43 years old female. From the last two years I experience pain and numbness in my left leg thighs when ever weather gets cold i.e from the month of early November to February end and if it rains in August or September. the pain is reduced or completely over by covering it with warm cloths or blanket. I wear three warm cloths to cover it … a woollen covering then a inner lower and then a woollen salwar or legging but some times even that cannot resist pain.
