Attention Deficit Hyperactive disorder ADHD
It is estimated that about 3-5 percent of all kids, have this disorder. Also the most unfortunate thing is that in many cases this disorder goes totally undiagnosed .The child is often mistaken as hyper-energetic kid or as just being more playful, but the reality is that many such kids suffer from a medical disorder known as Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder or ADHD.
It is a common belief that only kids showing signs of physical hyperactivity have some problem related to this disorder. Well, this actually it is not the complete truth. Symptoms of consistent inattentiveness are also associated with this disorder. It is characterized by hyperactivity (physical), inattentiveness, and impulsivity

Kids having ADHD usually depict either of three patterns of behavior. Either they are more of the hyperactive type, which means that they are more physically hyperactive (constantly moving jumping running fidgeting squirming, having difficulty sitting in one place etc) or the ‘inattentive type’ (having difficulty in concentrating, easily distracted) or the ‘combined type’ (having symptoms of hyperactivity and inattention both).
Not all children who run and jump too much suffer from ADHD. It is very important to realize that for a child to be diagnosed with ADHD, certain criterion has to be met with also called as the DSM criteria, before a child can be said to be suffering from it.
Nobody exactly knows what causes ADHD. Recent researches point out the causes could be either neurobiological or genetical. Certain chemical levels in the brain have been found low (dopamine -a chemical that sends messages to the part of the brain involved in attention, movement and motivation). Increased levels of heavy metals (lead) in the body is also seen in some kids .The kind of parenting given to the child has no role in the causation of this disorder, although bad parenting can influence the severity of this disorder.
Implication of ADHD can have far reaching effects, with the schooling of the child taking the biggest hit. Poor performance in school due to ADHD can lead to a hampered self esteem in the child .ADHD can also lead to learning disabilities, defiant behavior ,conduct disorder(anti-social behaviour,stealing ,fighting), anxiety disorders and depression .
Severe forms of ADHD are difficult to differentiate from milder forms of autism, a careful approach is necessary in diagnosing and treating such forms. Such severe forms affect the child?s normal mental development .for example speech and cognitive skills can be markedly affected in such cases.
Homoeopathy for ADHD

My son is 3.5 year old,he had a attack of seasure( fits) at age on 14 months. I had given him allopathic treatment valprin syrup for 1.5 year,after that episode there is no attack of the same & I stopped his medicine.
Now he is so active or said hyper active, slow learner,not start speak only few words like mummy, papa, dede. I consult doctor they told he is ADHD & needs treatment. I want to give him homeopathic treatment.

dear sir,i am living in sharjah.my 9 year old child is suffering with ADHD.he started speaking at the age of 3 after going for a speech therapy.he is very good in his studies.he is in grade 3 now.but nowadays he is very irritaded.he is saying in class most of the children teesing him nobody is playing with him because of that he is not studing also.we consulted with a child phycologist.at tht time she told me about medicines.how can i get your medicines.how can i improve his concentration.
This is regarding my son,who is 13 years old and is very Hyperactive ,studying in 6th Std. We gets complaints from school quite often as he doesn’t complete his work ,even he disturbs other students as well. Lacking concentration , his mind always divert somewhere else while studying. Poor performer in class .His teacher complaint that he does’t listen to them ,very talkative never interested in studies. At home he avoids study but shows interest in other activities like sports ,games and watching TV . He Doesn’t want to write in his exam papers or class test which always remains incomplete also short tempered.
One most important thing I would like to mention here is that he’s suffering from kidney problem since birth .Left kidney functioning 75 % and right kidney 23 % will stop functioning & started scaring as recent reports says .

Hello Doctor .. Touchwood my Son is quiet active all day.. He doesn’t sit at 1 place continuously.. He eats well.. We make him sit on a feeding chair for meals.. He is 16 months..
