My husband has had a stricture removed from his urethra in a cystocopy/dilation, with placement of a catheter, no sedation…..Ouch! My age is 52. I am a patient of Urethral stricture since my childhood. I do not remember when I passed urine freely except when I was operated for right renal calculous and having catheter for four days. It was only few months and again in same position. When urge is not attended as soon as I feel, it is very difficult to pass the urine. I feel it more after I had urinary infection three four years back. Urine can’t be passed in one attempt, I have to go for two three times. In ultrasound, Dr. says that diverticula also in bladder.
